Acura dealership in Bailey’s Crossroads proposes an expansion
Radley Acura |
Radley Acura is proposing an expansion.
The dealership, at 5823 Columbia Pike in Bailey’s Crossroads, is seeking a rezoning and zoning special exception to allow it to build an addition to its showroom building and a three-level parking garage for storing new vehicles.
The 4,192-square-foot addition, to be located at the rear of the existing building, would have a new enclosed drop-off area for customers bringing vehicles for service. The garage would have 391 parking spaces.
There would be no changes to the existing access points on Columbia Pike and Williams Lane.
According to the applicant’s statement of justification, the proposed expansion would not result in an increased number of customers or employees or an increase in traffic.

The statement says the proposed project will accommodate a future realignment of Seminary Road. The comprehensive plan for Bailey’s Crossroads envisions the construction of a four-lane road connection between Seminary Road and Columbia Pike next to Radley Acura.
The Fairfax County Planning Commission has scheduled a public hearing on Feb. 3.
