Administrative team named for Justice High School

Outgoing Justice High School Principal Penny Gros announced several new administrators for the school July 15.
“Part of my responsibilities over the last few weeks has been to fill
vacancies on our administrative team to ensure that we have our administrative
team ready to go to support Principal Eck,” Gros wrote in an email to the
community.
Maria Eck, the principal of Poe Middle School, begins her new position as principal of Justice High School on July 23. Gros has been promoted to the position
of executive principal for Fairfax County Public Schools’ Region 2.

William Brooks, assistant principal – Brooks has been a school
administrator in Hampton, Va., and Albuquerque, N.M.

Jason Kagarise, assistant principal – A resident of Falls Church,

Susie Lilburn, dean of students – A graduate of Centreville High
School, Lilburn has taught English for speakers of other languages and student
leadership at Justice for the past three years. Before that, she taught Spanish

Rashawn Luckman, dean of students – A former PE teacher in upstate New
York, Luckman taught in private schools in the D.C. area and completed her
administrative internship in the Stuart High School Credit Recovery Academy, a
summer program.
