Aileen Flaherty named principal of Camelot Elementary School
Aileen Flaherty has been appointed principal of Camelot Elementary School in Annandale, Fairfax County Public Schools announced. Flaherty has been
assistant principal at both Graham Road Elementary School and Westbriar Elementary School in Vienna.

Before that, she was a teacher at Olde Creek (Fairfax) and Woodburn (Annandale) elementary schools.
Flaherty has achieved
national board certification, an extremely rigorous process to designate master
teachers, from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. She also has a postgraduate professional
license and has completed the FCPS Assistant Principal AP II Portfolio Program.
