Post Commander Roy McCracken usually cooks up something
special, too, such as eggs benedict, chocolate chip pancakes, or “eggs McCracken,”
which consists of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese, and peppers between
two pieces of French toast and smothered in sausage gravy.
“If you leave hungry, it’s your own fault,” says Joyce Landry, a member of the American Legion post’s auxiliary.
Donations are accepted for mimosas and bloody Marys.
If you miss this one, there’s always next time. The post has
a Commander’s Breakfast on the third Sunday of every month.
