Annandale bank robbed

The Wells Fargo Bank at 7620 Little River Turnpike in Annandale was robbed at around 1:20 p.m. on Oct. 27, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

The suspect.

A man entered the bank, approached a teller, and implied that he had a gun, although no one saw a weapon. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.

The suspect was described as black, in his 20s, and heavy set. He was wearing a dark jacket and khaki pants. The Fairfax 1 FCPD helicopter and a K9 team searched for the suspect but he was not located. Bank surveillance photographs are not yet available.
