The Annandale Farmers Market at Mason District Park on Columbia Pike is one of four county markets that will open for the season next week.
The Annandale Farmers Market will be open every Thursday, 8 a.m.-noon, starting June 11.
Customers are asked to comply with COVID-19 safety procedures. Shoppers should limit their visit to two persons per household, wear face coverings, and stay six feet away from others. There will be a one-way path through the market, and there could be a waiting line.

Will we be able to shop in person or only order online?
I appreciate how hard it must be to envision and implement a new system to keep the markets running while layering additional safety during COVID. But I can't see how this new process will work out. I've contacted a handful of vendors listed under the Annandale Market using the County-described process and most don't even come to Annandale. Two did, but they don't list prices or specific items, so it began a back-and-forth of "what would you like?" "Well, what do you have?" I'm going to miss the Annandale market!
