Annandale girl stabbed on the way to school

The local NBC news station has a report about a 17-year-old girl being stabbed Tuesday morning as she walked to school in the 4400 block of Elan Place in Annandale. According to the story, “neighbors said they heard cries for help. The victim’s father told News4’s Pat Collins his daughter came running back to the house screaming. She said, ‘Dad, my life’s finished, my life’s finished. I’m all cut!’ he said.”

The girl’s father said two men were involved, both of them wearing masks. One man held the girl while the other slashed her face. “Investigators said the girl knew her attackers,” News4 states, “and the victim’s father believes it involves an online encounter she had with a man. He said his daughter repeatedly rejected the man’s advances. Fairfax County police are treating this as a domestic incident. So far, no one has been arrested.”

  1. This news was frightening but then I saw a piece that she had met someone on the internet. Just confirms that parents need to educate their kids about talking to strangers on line. So sad, I hope she will recover fine.
