Annandale home prices up 30 percent last month over 2012

The average price of homes sold in Annandale zip code 22003 in June was $530,316, a 30.5 percent increase over June 2012, according to data from Real Estate Business Intelligence provided by Annandale realtor Vivianne Couts, of the Couts Group with Coldwell Banker.

The average price of attached units was $317,815, up 21 percent.

Fewer units were sold in June 2013: 63, compared to 66 in June 2012. Just 15 attached houses were sold last month compared to 24 a year ago.

But homes are selling faster. The average home spent 27 days on the market last month, compared to 38 a year ago.

Two houses that sold in Annandale last month were in the $1 million to $2.5 million range. Three sold in the $800,000 to $1 million range. Six attached homes sold for less than $200,000.
