Annandale home prices up 8 percent in November
Home prices in Annandale (zip code 22003) were up over 8 percent in November 2011 compared to November 2010, reports our real estate contributor, Vivianne Couts of Coldwell Banker. The average sale price was $375,951 last month and $346,007 the same month a year ago.
Here are some relevant stats for November 2011, with the numbers for November 2010 in parentheses:
- The dollar volume of homes sold—$16,917,800 ($14,878,299), up nearly 14 percent.
- Median price of homes sold—$386,000 ($338,000).
- Number of units sold—45 (43).
- Average days on the market—48 (48).
There were two houses sold last month in the $800,000 to $999,999 price range; nothing was sold for more than that. There are three active listings in the $1 million to $2,499,999 range—and one in the below $50,000 range.
