Police from the
Mason station arrested a 28-year-old Annandale man for two counts of aggravated
sexual battery after receiving complaints that he had inappropriately
touched children at a home childcare facility at 6412 Holyoke Drive.

According to a
news bulletin, a 14-year-old girl alleged that Thomas had inappropriately touched her
on numerous occasions when she attended the daycare when she was 11 and 12
years old. Police are investigating
reports from other children alleging inappropriate sexual touching while they attended Happy Land.

center has closed after operating for several years. Holyoke Drive is off Old
Columbia Pike between Lincolnia Road and Gainer Street.
