βMy dad was a great person. He cared so much about us. He was such a great person, such a humble heart. He was so nice,β Hanifβs daughter Fatema Raisa told NBC4.
Hanif moved to the United States from Bangladesh in 1999. He worked at a Subway before acquiring the business. His family said he worked long hours to provide for their family and loved helping others.

I go to Maryland as often as I can but I don’t stop in PG County. I’m sorry for this Poor family.

Heartfelt condolences to the family. What a tragedy.
He was my coworker, a very good man. Happy guy always, always nice to all. For someone to even kill him, or anyone for that matter, they need God in their mind and heart. God bless Hanif’s family
