Hanna Plaza would share parking with the VCA Annandale Animal Hospital. |
Plans to renovate a vacant office building on 7409 Little River Turnpike, renamed Hanna Plaza, are going forward, with construction possibly starting in early spring 2015 if the building permits are approved in time.

The owner of the building, who wishes to remain anonymous, recently purchased the VCA Annandale Animal Hospital next door, so that will solve the issue around insufficient parking, said Jeffrey Levine, the architect in charge of the renovation. The animal hospital will stay open, and the current veterinarians will remain. Both buildings will share parking.
According to Fairfax County property records, the animal hospital at 7405 Little River Turnpike was sold by Witter Wendel Ross on Sept. 30 to 7405 SK LLC as part of a multi-property sale for $3 million.
The office building renovation is a by-right project, so there won’t be a rezoning procedure or public hearing. One of the former tenants, Title Max, moved up the street to the former Jerry’s Subs building. Several prospective tenants are interested in Hanna Plaza but no leases have been signed yet.
