Annandale resident listed on sex offender registry

The Virginia State Police issued a notification July 30 that Annandale resident Corey Jevon Cox is listed on the Sex Offender and Crimes Against Minors Registry. He was convicted of aggravated sexual battery in 2002 in Prince William County.

Cox, ae 41, lives at 4408 Island Place, Apt. 302, off Americana Drive. He is described as black,
5 feet 11, 225 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Individuals are listed on the registry for public information purposes. Using information on the sex offender registry to intimidate or harass an offender is prohibited by law and punishable as a Class 1 misdemeanor.
