Annandale resident listed on sex offender registry

The Virginia State Police Sex Offender and Crimes Against Minors Registry put out a community notification Aug. 17 about Bruce E. Landrum, of 7504 Rocart Drive, Annandale, Va. Rocart Drive is between Ravensworth Road and Bristow Drive and is about a block from Annandale High School and the Sleepy Hollow Preschool.

Landrum, a white male, age 50, was convicted of rape in Fairfax County in 2003. He is described as 155 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.

Individuals are listed on the registry for public information purposes. The state police has not determined whether anyone on the registry is considered dangerous. Using information on the sex offender registry to intimidate or harass an offender is prohibited by law.
