Annandale restaurants open for indoor dining

As Fairfax County moved into Phase 2 on Friday, many Annandale restaurants are opening up for indoor dining.
Among the restaurants that have opened their dining rooms, Honey Pig and Cue Club on Columbia Pike and Manoa Bakery Café on Little River Turnpike are the only ones we found that said they are checking customers’ temperature at the door.
El Habanero Taqueria allows indoor dining as well as outdoor seating under a big tent. |
Phase 2 of the state’s plan to scale back COVID-19 restrictions allows restaurants to open at 50 percent capacity. Tables must be spaced at least six feet apart. Tables must be thoroughly cleaned between seatings, and all surfaces must be cleaned every hour.
Pelicana Chicken on John Marr Drive, for example, has reduced the number of seats from 55 to 20 or 25, and the Juke Box Diner, also on John Marr Drive, doesn’t let people sit in adjoining booths.

Other Annandale restaurants that are now open for indoor dining include The Block, Kimen Ramen & Izakaya on John Marr Drive; El Habanero Taqueria Bar & Grill on Little River Turnpike; and Mandu Kimbob, To Sok Jip, and Bonchon on Columbia Pike. Silverado is open but requires reservations.
Release the Craycken on Markham Street plans to allow indoor dining next Friday.
Outdoor dining is still an option at Mandu Kimbob. |
Restaurants that are still limiting service to carryout and delivery include A&J Restaurant on Markham Street, Shilla Bakery and Thai Food on Little River Turnpike, and Yechon on Hummer Road.
Many more restaurants are likely already open for indoor dining or plan to open in the coming weeks.
