Annandale Terrace has a new principal
Ingrid Badia has been named principal of Annandale Terrace Elementary School, effective Sept. 19.
Badia started her career with Fairfax County Public Schools as a Spanish immersion and language arts teacher at Bailey’s Elementary School for the Arts and Sciences.
She was an assistant principal at Annandale Terrace and, for the past couple of months, was an assistant principal at Mason Crest Elementary School.
Badia has also served as a mentor resource teacher, world language curriculum resource teacher, and instructional coach at various schools.

She has a bachelor’s degree from Goucher College and a master’s of education degree in curriculum and instruction from George Mason University.
The former Annandale Terrace principal, Lisa Pilson, left the school to become FCPS director of early childhood curriculum and grants management.
