Annandale’s ‘anti-fat pastor’ hosts 5K next Saturday

Capital Baptist Church is hosting the sixth annual Losing to Live 5K Run/Walk Saturday,
June 15, to help raise awareness about healthy lifestyles.

100 points and created the Losing to Live weight loss competition, resulting in
participants losing more than 16,000 pounds during the past six years. Known as
the “anti-fat pastor,” Reynolds has publicized his message about healthy lifestyles through Jesus
in books and TV appearances.

The Losing
to Live 5K Run/Walk starts at 9 a.m. in the Capitol Baptist Church
parking lot, 3504 Gallows Road. There
will also be a Fun Run for kids at 8:30 a.m.

of the public can register for the 5K online; at Metro Run/Walk, 7261 Commerce St.,
Springfield, on June 14, 4-7 p.m.; or at Capitol Baptist on race day, 7:15-8:45
