Poe art teacher Diana Fitzwater challenged her students to depict things that had an impact on their lives and that were important to them, says Lynn Dreyer, marketing director at Combined Properties. Some students chose birthday cakes, film, or music, while others depicted love and unity. The six 8.5 x 11-inch pieces that were selected were enlarged to 4 x 6 feet and formatted for permanent display.
Following the unveiling ceremony, participants were invited to Baja Bistro Fresh Mex Grille for a reception.
