The art exhibits at the Mason Government Center are back after an 18-month hiatus due to COVID.
The first exhibit of 2021, on view now, features paintings by James Albright of Lincolnia. An open house with the artist will be held on Friday, Sept. 24, in the small conference room.
Albright uses bright colors to capture vivid nature scenes and Annandale streetscapes. He is a community activist, dedicated hiker, former school principal, and has taken up painting in the last few years. He writes about painting and other topics in the Living Life in 4D blog.
The paintings will be on view through the end of October, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., 6507 Columbia Pike.
Wow, these are AWESOME! Congratulations on the exciting exhibit, Mr. Albright! Wishing you much, continued success! D. Casey
