Assault and attempted robbery in Annandale
The Fairfax County Police Department reports
an attempted robbery Jan. 2 in the 7600 block of McWhorter Place, Annandale.
According to the police blotter, the victim was in a parking lot when
approached by three men at about 8:40 p.m. The suspects displayed a handgun,
assaulted the victim, and demanded money. Nothing was taken, and the suspects
fled. The victim incurred non-life threatening injuries. The suspects were
described as Hispanic, in their late teens, and about 5 feet 7 inches tall.
