Thank you for this informative article.
While the information can probably not be provided because of health information privacy laws, it would be helpful to know how badly the victim was injured.
"Non-Life-Threatening Injuries" run the gamut from a few scratches and small bruises to some broken bones, or worse.
It would be helpful to know how violent the gang of criminals running free in Mason District are to help me decide whether I can safely take a walk in my neighborhood alone at night.
I would suggest getting some firearm safety training, a nice H&K in a holster and you should be good to go open carry. Check on permits etc.
Someone should look at the bad element that lives in the house on the corner of Braddock and Arcadia and kick their butts out of here. There are alway shady characters there, its a flop house and should be wiped off the map. But you know code compliance they run if someone says boo. We have the reverse of Ferguson, the criminals rule Mason District.
You mean the corner of Bryce and Arcadia, that is where there is constant turnover of hispanic renters. Always people out there drinking and fixing cars, its disgusting. Mason is turning into a slum and leadership hides behind the County Attorney's office noting they can't do anything.
Maybe you should sell your house to the county attorney so they can get mugged. Those attorneys sit in their palaces in McLean and have no idea what the rest of us have to put up with.
