B2B Opportunity Fair geared to small business start-ups

Looking
to take your business to the next level? Or take the plunge into entrepreneurship? Get
some practical advice and build your networking contacts at the B2B Opportunity Fair this Friday, May 29, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Ernst Center at the Annandale campus of
Northern Virginia Community College.

This
free event, sponsored by the Business Development Assistance Group (BDAG), an
Annandale-based nonprofit, is geared for the owners of small businesses and
companies owned by minorities, women, or veterans that want to expand, and to
emerging entrepreneurs. Online registration is recommended.

BDAG provides free assistance and
training to people starting small businesses in conjunction with the
SkillSource Center, a county employment agency. It was established by Toa Do, a
Vietnamese refugee who survived a harrowing journey to freedom, eventually
started a successful company in Virginia, and turned his attention to helping
others.
