Those are just a few of the groups the Bailey’s Crossroads
Rotary Club has supported over the years. Other groups the club has contributed to include the Bailey’s Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department, Langley Residential Support Services, the Special
Olympics, and the Wounded Warriors Project. During
2013-14, the club donated nearly $18,000 to charities, as well as
additional support to local schools and international projects.
The Rotary Club has raised funds to support charities by
raffling off a vintage car annually for the past 29 years. This year’s raffle,
for a 1966 Ford Mustang convertible, will take place Sept. 14 at Occoquan Regional Park. More information on purchasing raffle tickets is available
