For the 33rd year in a row, the Rotary Club of Bailey’s Crossroads raffled off a classic Ford Mustang to raise money for charities.
The winner, Chris Karfs of Southampton, N.J., bought the lucky ticket. He opted for a $20,000 check instead of the 1966 Mustang convertible. The second and third-place winners – Lawrence O’Rourke of Farmingville, N.Y., and Steven Lubbers of Clayton, N.C. – each received $500.
The winning raffle tickets were picked on Sept. 30 at the Occoquan Arts and Crafts Festival by Occoquan Mayor Earnie Porta.
