A bakery/cafe called Tous Les Jours is being developed at 7219
Columbia Pike, Annandale, in the building that used to house Joseph’s Coat. Design of the new store has already started, said manager Gi
Lee, with the shop expected to open in April or May of 2014.

Tous Les Jours will sell about 150 items, including bread,
pastry, cake, coffee, bubble tea, sandwiches, and “ice flakes,” a frozen
dessert, Lee said. It will be open 8 a.m.-11 p.m.
This will be the second Tous Les Jours (it means “every day”
in French) in Northern Virginia; the other one is in Centreville. There are
several more in other states. Both the Centreville and Annandale shops are
owned by Erica Yoo, who sells cosmetics at HMart grocery stores.

Joseph’s Coat, a thrift/consignment shop run by Bethany House of Northern Virginia, a nonprofit that aids domestic abuse victims, closed in July, just over a year after it opened.
Oh great – another Korean vaguery with some vague francophile leanings. Like Shillas, Le Matin and Dolce aren't enough. But at least it's better than another car title lender.
Or Yet-Another-Walgreens – the AOL CDs of the built environment.
It is better than a car title lender; more to the point, its better than an empty storefront.
A real boost to downtown Annandale would be a Trader
Joes in the old Bloom space.
Yes! TJ's there would be grand.
Amen on a Trader Joes!!!
