Bank robber hits M&T Bank in Annandale

The M&T Bank at 7857 Heritage Drive in Annandale was robbed at about 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 22, reports a bulletin from the West Springfield Police District. The suspect presented a note to a 21-year-old female teller that implied he had a weapon. He fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no injuries.
The suspect was described as black, in his 20s to 30s, approximately 6 feet tall with an athletic build. He was wearing a gray sport coat, a black fedora, sunglasses, and white sneakers. The police helicopter and a K9 team responded to the scene.
