BB&T bank in Annandale robbed for second time this year
The Fairfax County Police posted photos of a suspect who allegedly robbed the BB&T Bank at 4401 Backlick Road, Annandale, on Saturday, Dec. 24. That bank was also robbed last March.
According to the Franconia Police District, a man entered the bank, next to the CVS on the corner of Backlick and Little River Turnpike, at 11:13 a.m. and demanded money from a teller. The suspect implied that he had a weapon and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured.
The suspect was described as black, about 20 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and between 170 and 180 pounds. He was wearing a black, collared jacket, a gray scarf, blue jeans, dark-colored sunglasses, and a black hat.
