Best young swimmers compete at All-Stars meet in Annandale
The Broyhill Crest Recreation Club in Annandale was swarming with stingrays, dolphins, barracudas, otters, and other marine life Saturday morning. These are some of the teams represented at the Northern Virginia Swimming League Individual All-Star Meet, which was hosted by the Broyhill Crest pool for the second year in a row. The All Stars results are posted on the NVSL website.
Congratulations to Sean Fletcher of the Hunter Mill Swim and Racquet Club in Vienna (the Sharks) for setting a new record (25.82) in backstroke. Swimming in the 15-18 Boys 50-Meter Backstroke, Sean exceeded the record he set the week before (26.18) at the Division 3 Individual Championships. This marks the 17th NVSL record set by Sean, making him most successful swimmer in NVSL history.
