Bloomie’s, now open in Mosaic, offers a curated version of Bloomingdale’s

Bloomie’s, the boutique version of Bloomingdale’s, opened in Mosaic with a block party featuring a DJ, street games, gift-with-purchase deals, fashion sketches, free customization, and happy hour specials at Colada Shop, the Cuban café in the store. 

Those specials are available until 6 p.m. today. 

Bloomie’s offers a carefully curated, but limited selection featuring top designers and brands. There are women’s and men’s clothing, shoes, cosmetics, jewelry, and handbags. 

At the store’s “front desk,” customers can order different colors or sizes – or other items, such as bedding or children’s clothing – from other Bloomingdale’s stores, including the flagship 59th Street store in New York.

Bloomie’s will not offer discounts. The inventory is frequently updated, and everything is sold at the regular price. Items not sold will be sent to other stores, rather than ending up on a mark-down rack.
