  1. Lovely, and Penny Gross is sending out her newsletter about how wonderful and great Mason District is to live. I want her drugs of delusion. It may help me sleep at night living here.

  2. You don't need the drugs, you already live in the delusional state that lets you see where you live as anything but the urban setting you find yourself in. Bad things happen. Fairfax is an urban county now not the sleepy suburbs you dream about. Reality bites, it isn't all Penny Gross' fault, get over yourself.

    1. But it is mostly Penny's fault for trying to make it so. Mason District is not urban. That Mason District is urban is an (urban) myth promulgated by the Chair and Vice Chair of the Board of Supervisors and their minions. They want to make it urban but we want it to stay Suburban. In fact 80% of us want it to stay suburban. That is why we moved here, and not to D. C. or some other city. Don't believe it?: http://realtormag.realtor.org/daily-news/2016/03/15/most-people-want-single-family-homes . Penny if you want urban, find a city, move there, and take this guy with you.

  3. Penny proudly says Fairfax County is a wonderful place to live, but I notice she doesn't say Mason District.

MD has the highest murder and crime rate in the county. Three homicides so far this year reported in the Annandaleblog. At an election talk Penny said most are "domestic". So what. A murder is a murder. This has to stop.

Quality of life are just as important in Mason District as the rest of FFX Co. Penny and Chairman Bulova need to enforce the laws that they are conveniently overlooking to make Mason District safer.

  4. I can't tell you how happy it makes me that the first comment is attacking Penny Gross.

Person dies, use for attack on Penny Gross, the Annandale Blog comments everyone!

    1. Exactly.

My sympathy goes out to this man's loved ones. I hope that he'll be laid to rest reverently and that they will have time to mourn and heal.

  5. Enforce the law and make is safer for everyone.

This third and unfortunate death is a wake up call.

  6. This is truly a tragic outcome, on that we can all agree. At this point we have no idea what forces came to together to bring it about, but we do know that our police force is under paid, under staffed and over burdened and demoralized. What ever else contributed to this event, we know that this scenario makes sub optimal outcomes significantly more likely.

  7. This makes me sick! I am a loved one of the dececed you all are referencing here and not one of you know anything about this man! He had his own and extremely strong political opinions and if he could chime in he would shut you all up in a second. Rip Ed. You are loved and missed dearly.

  8. I wonder why there is no information about any efforts of investigation. My friend had his wheels stolen and an investigation was open.
