  1. Enough is enough, it is time to knock down these section 8 houses and introduce section 8 housing fairly distributed throughout the County. This ghettoizing of Baileys helps no one, including the people that live there. Penny Gross just shrugs her shoulders and allows this to permeate. What will it take her and the rest of BoS to be adult about this problem?

    1. It is in no one's interest to move this infectious disease and spread it across the county.

A good political practice is "keep them hanging on crime and welfare"
in our very democratic county, such slams are their bread and butter.

    2. There are good people amongst the bad apples. And we need laborers to clean our houses, cut our grass and work in the building industry. However, the concentration of low income exacerbates the problem of poverty, gang violence, crime and decimating good adjacent neighborhoods and school districts.

    3. Agreed, 10/18 11:54. We would all be better off if those apartments were demolished. I'm sure the police would agree, given how often they have to go there!

  2. Isn't it lovely to see all the community concern for the little boy who was shot? I'm so grateful to be living in such a wonderful place with such caring neighbors.

    1. There wouldn't be these horrible incidents if the County's leadership got a brain and actually improved these terrible ghetto living conditions. Dispersing these low income families amongst the County's more fortunate might give them a chance to better assimilate rather than lose their children to gang violence. That is why BoS stands for Board of Stupids.

    2. Sorry,
No lovely boys hang out in the street at 3am.

If anything, the community would be worried where are his parents?
      and
Who in their right mind let their 13YO kids be out at 3am?

If one wants community sympathy, one better get their act together.

      Cheers.

    3. WTF 11:13am. I was a teenager once. We hung out outside super late at night, it's what teenagers do, it's not illegal.

      Cheers

  3. This little boy could have been 17. What little boy is out at 3am? Nobody wants to see loss of life but people are just pointing out that they are sick of the violence in this area.
