BP station robbed at gunpoint

A man robbed the BP gas station on the corner of Columbia Pike and John Marr Drive at gunpoint at about 8:30 a.m. April 12. “The 52-year-old man working as a cashier handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and was not injured. The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction,” the Mason District Police report. The suspect was described as black, about 35 to 40 years old, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, 180 to 220 pounds, with curly, black hair. He was wearing shorts and a black jacket.   1. Do we know if there has been any update to this story? It seems to me that with a photo that good, he should not be too hard to find. This is not something that should go below the radar seeing as how it occurred in downtown Annandale during morning rush.

  2. Word from the CAC meeting last night is that this guy was caught and has confessed to 13 robberies in FFX, Alex and Arl!
