Car fire at gas station
A car fire at the Exxon gas station at Gallows and Holly Road in Annandale Oct. 22 could have been much worse if firefighters hasn’t been able to respond quickly and extinguished the fire before it reached the gas pumps.
Units from the fire station in Merrifield (#30) and the Jefferson station (#18) in Falls Church put out the fire, the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department reports
The car on fire was not fueling up at the pumps when it caught fire, says Fire Department spokesperson Bill Delaney. “It was not in the pump area. It was off to the side, but was certainly in close proximity.”

I'm glad no one was hurt. Must've been a real white-knuckle moment, though.
Thank goodness the place didn't blow up. Its all these illegal immigrants that can barely afford to live here, so they drive these bomb mobiles and live in many of our neighborhoods renting rooms living from week to week.
Do you know the person whose car caught on fire? Do you know whether this person is an immigrant? If not, don't make assumptions.
Oh, please look around and look who are driving all the white vans and the bomb mobiles. Just consider everyone lucky that no one was harmed. Car probably had not been inspected and had Maryland tags.

I used that gas station all the time when I lived in a nice neighborhood nearby. Not an illegal immigrant, and I don't recall there being a lot of illegal immigrants in the Camelot neighborhood that I lived in.
Who cares what they were driving or where they are from. Be glad no one was hurt and leave it at that
Maybe it was a BMW or Mercedes driver not aware of the Samsung Note recall. Those idiots are everywhere.
Maybe it was one of our antique County supervisors trying to multi task and still getting nothing done but causing a fire.
It was my van. I brought it there for repairs. Please don't judge. This was frightening.

Im glad you are safe too. Be very careful who you bring your vehicles to for repair. Many of these foreign nationals that run these stations think Americans are rich and ripe for ripping off. Many of them don't have a clue what they are doing on our vehicles. I have had a few bad experiences with some of these middle eastern so called mechanics that I think I got their skills in Mosul or the desert. Not all of them are not ethical but some are good and honest but the majority of them are questionable. Be careful in vetting them and get numerous recommendations before they blow your vehicle up. I took my car to one Afghani shop and they thought it was appropriate to fix my vehicle's AC fan by shoving a crow bar in the air duct and banging the fan. At that point I said thank you very much and got the hell out of there. I knew I was in the wrong place and went to J & F motors and it was the electronic controlled reastat that had gone bad and they did not try to fix it with a crow bar.

This isn't about me or you, I was simply warning this poor woman to be careful who she takes her vehicles to for repair. But you had to turn it into a liberal assault by name calling. Sort of like being worse than a bigot, an insufferable biased naive liberal bafoon.
