Chick-fil-A opening just a few weeks away

Chick-fil-A replaces a collection of antique shops in the center of Annandale.

Chick-fil-A could open on Little River Turnpike in Annandale as early as the first week of April.

The exterior of the building is mostly finished, the signs are up, the drive-through lanes are in place, and workers are installing the kitchen equipment and furniture.

The interior is coming together.

About 140 employees have been hired, and up to 60 more are needed. Applicants should text “Annandale” to 571-655-3572.

The Chick-fil-A menu features several kinds of chicken sandwiches, nuggets, and waffle fries.

Outdoor dining on Little River Turnpike.

To celebrate the opening, the restaurant plans to provide free Chick-fil-A meals for a year to 100 people who are making an impact in the community.

Chick-fil-A restaurants are always closed on Sundays. The standard operating hours are Monday to Saturday, 6:30 a.m.-10 p.m., although franchisees can modify the hours.

Drive-through customers will place their orders here.

There are more than 2,500 Chick-fil-As in the U.S. and Canada, including Seven Corners, Springfield, Fairfax Circle, Ballston, and Vienna.

Customers will pick up their orders here.

  1. cannot envision traffic on 236 at rush hours, especially with left turns in and out of the Chic-Fil-A

  2. Thank goodness that we have a mainstream restaurant opening in Penny Gross’s neighborhood……there are individuals who values these places of business as well. Let’s not target ethnicities for votes.

  3. Gee, a business run by a company that embraces the policy to not serve gay / same sex couples. Just what we DON’T need in Annandale!

    1. WTF is this??? I get criticism that the founders and head honchos are more conservative christians and that some of the corporate philanthropy can be construed as anti-gay: that’s legit criticism. But I have never heard of them refusing to serve anyone.

Say what you want about ChickFilA corporate and their politics, but one of ChickFilA’s endearing qualities is how they seriously drill in customer service into their staff’s DNA. I have never been to one of their stores and gotten ANY sense that they’d reject anyone who walks into their store. If they did that it would be all over the news and they’d be in the crosshairs of lawsuits (for good reason).

You don’t have to patronize them if you don’t want and you can throw criticism at them all you want for their politics and their charitable choices, but stop making shit up.
