Condo fire displaces Annandale family

A fire at a townhouse condo at 4917 Casimir St., Annandale, April 11 displaced two adults, three children, and a service dog. They have received assistance from the Red Cross, the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department reports.

Three occupants were home at the time of the fire. Firefighters arrived at about 4:11 p.m. and quickly extinguished the fire. No one was injured. The home had no working smoke alarms. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage is estimated at $125,000.
