Congressional school offers online summer courses

Congressional School, a private-independent school in the Falls Church area of Mason District, launched a Summer Academy, offering two-week virtual enrichment courses.
The classes, for students entering grades 3-9 in fall 2002, are designed to keep students’ academic skills sharp and give them a boost when returning to school in the fall.
Course topics include youth leadership, Spanish, math, study skills, reading, and writing. There are two sessions: June 15-26 and June 29 -July 10. The fee is $500.

Congressional School also offers a five-week credit-bearing course in geometry is summer for students entering grades 8 or 9 and have completed Algebra 1. The fee for that course is $1,500.
Class size is limited to 10 students and will use the Google Meet platform. Students must have a device with a microphone, camera, and keyboard, plus a reliable internet connection.
