County facilities announce holiday schedule

Here’s the holiday schedule for Fairfax County facilities: 

• Fairfax County government offices – Officially closed at noon on Dec. 23. Closed Dec. 24 and 31.
• Libraries – Open 10 a.m.-noon on Dec. 23. Closed Dec. 24, 25, 31, and Jan. 1.
• Rec Centers – Open Dec. 24 5 a.m.-noon; closed Dec. 25; open 5 a.m.-4 p.m. on Dec. 31; closed Jan. 1.
• Hidden Oaks Nature Center – Closed Dec. 24, 25, 31, and Jan. 1.
• Green Spring Gardens – Closed Dec. 24, 25, 31, and Jan. 1.
• Community centers and senior centers – Closed as of noon on Dec. 23. Closed 24-26.
• Fairfax County Circuit Court – Closed Dec. 23, 24, Dec. 30, 31, and Jan. 1. 
• Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court – Dec. 23, 24, 31, and Jan. 1.
• Fastran – Will not operate beginning at noon on Dec. 24 and all day on Dec. 25.
• County trash services – Operates on all holidays except Dec. 25.
• Fairfax County Connector – Routes that operate on Saturdays, will follow a Saturday schedule on Dec. 24, 25, 31, and Jan. 1.
