Updated Feb. 6: The Navy Federal Credit Union in Barcroft Plaza was robbed shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 5.

The suspect entered the bank, at 6343 Columbia Pike in Lincolnia, and demanded money, the Fairfax County Police Department reports. The suspect did not display a weapon. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as an Asian man approximately 5 foot 7, with a heavier build and black hair with red and black streaks. He was wearing a surgical mask, a blue and red puffy coat, a flannel button-up shirt, black pants, and white and grey shoes.

    Just make sure people into their membership number before I come to the door.

  2. The risk-reward of robbing a credit union branch is high. They probably don’t keep much cash on hand, and the chances of getting caught are high.
