Kathleen O’Leary named Mason’s Officer of the Year

The Mason Police District’s Citizens Advisory Committee has named PFC Kathleen O’Leary Officer of the Year. The award was
presented at the March 7 CAC meeting.

O’Leary, the crime prevention officer for the Mason Police
District, was honored for her work with the community, including such initiatives
as the Taste of Annandale, Neighborhood Watch, a community cleanup held in
conjunction with the Culmore Cleanup, parent workshops in partnership with the Fairfax County Department of Neighborhood and Community Service, and an art project involving
George Mason University and high school students.
