CVS Health has expanded its list of COVID-19 vaccination
sites to 36 stores in Virginia, including stores in Fairfax, Alexandria, and
Arlington, reports company spokesperson Amy Thibault.

CVS has earlier announced plans to offer vaccinations in 11
states, including 28 stores in Virginia but not Northern Virginia.

“The list of specific stores will be available on CVS.com as
stores receive shipments of vaccine and appointments become available,” Thibault
says. “Appointments will be available when the vaccine doses arrive and must be
made on CVS.com or the CVS app.” The company expects to open the appointment
scheduling tool next week, possibly as early as Feb. 9.

Vaccinations will be limited to people who meet the Virginia
Department of Health’s eligibility criteria. That includes people age 65 and
older, people with underlying health conditions, healthcare workers, and frontline
essential workers.

  1. Well its about time. This state is so backwards. Friends of mine have already received their shots in Delaware (known to be slower lower Delaware). I guess NOVA stands for NO VACCINES!

    1. What are you talking about? Delaware is .1% ahead of VA for population vaccinated (with VA having 8x as many people), and both states are doing way better than the average of all states. Get some facts.

    2. Exactly, what the hell are you talking about? This reads like a Donald Trump tweet. Get educated before you make baseless claims.

  2. You got to love it –
Prisoners and jailed criminal gets vaccine before normal citizens.

What a time to be alive.
