Dog lost in Sleepy Hollow area

Tigy, a 45-pound Dutch Shepherd mix, has been missing since Jan. 29, when she got away from her owners, Ingrid and George Brock, and ran down Sleepy Hollow Road. She was last seen in front of Congressional School.

She is very friendly and shy, reports Ingrid, who lives on Grass Hill Terrace, Falls Church. If you see Tigy, please contact Ingrid at 703-333-3185 (home) or 703-407-0250 (cell).

Updated Feb. 6: Tigy is back home and doing fine, Ingrid Brock reports. People had heard her barking for two days across from Congressional School and called Animal Control, which found her leash had been entangled in shrubs and she could not move. Animal Control brought her home at about 1:30 on Feb. 5.

  1. Congratulations on getting your beautiful Tigy back! That was a long time to be away from home. I hope she didn't suffer any weather related injuries . . . or any other.
