Dunkin’ offers free donuts Saturday morning

The new Dunkin’ in Annandale is celebrating its Grand Opening on Saturday, Oct. 26, by offering a free donut with a beverage purchase.

The shop, at 8205 Columbia Pike, is along the route of the Annandale Parade, which starts Saturday at 10 a.m.

The Dunkin’ Grand Opening, 9-11 a.m., will also include a DJ, Dunkin’s mascot (“Cuppy” the coffee cup), a balloon twister, and a prize wheel for free Dunkin’-branded giveaways.

A Dunkin’ press release lists some of the features of the new shop:

  • A modern design that creates “an approachable, positive, and energetic environment”;
  • Premium cold-beverage pours, including iced coffee, iced tea, cold brew, and nitro-infused cold brew;
  • Digital kiosks for ordering and an area for mobile pickups; and
  • Energy-efficient elements, such as LED lighting and low-flow faucets.

  1. That location is cursed. Even if you want to go in, once you do it you realize it’s a nightmare with the traffic pattern around it. It’ll be interesting having a Dunkin’s for 6 months i guess.
