Dunkin’ opens in Annandale
Local residents have a new spot for breakfast and snacks following the opening of Dunkin’ in Annandale on Oct. 4.
The coffee shop is located in a completely renovated building at 7025 Columbia Pike that formerly housed a flower shop. The building had been vacant since it was heavily damaged in a fire in August 2022.
Dunkin’ offers a seasonal “pumpkin spice iced signature latte,” as well as “original blend coffee,” cold brew, nitro, green tea, chai latte, hot chocolate, and fruit drinks.
There are several kinds of donuts, plus other breakfast and lunch items, such as avocado toast, a maple sugar bacon sandwich, loaded hash browns, and omelet bites.
The store manager, Sadab Hossain, says the donuts and other baked goods are delivered fresh every day from a central bakery. Anything left over at the end of the day is discarded.
There is just one table inside, two outside in front of the store and two in the rear. Hossain says future plans call for developing a parking lot in the backyard.
Dunkin’ is open daily 5 a.m.-7 p.m.
Exciting opening and have already been. Parking lot is not exactly clear on how they want people to park
Why throw food away. Calll a food bank
Because it’s not safe. Someone the food bank could claim they got sick and it would be a huge lawsuit.
Not true!! Pret Manger locations in DC give all of the leftover food to the homeless each day.
Prets general counsel probably has a solid release contract that the shelters must sign. Not every chain or independent restaurant has that.
Give the leftover food to the food bank or a homeless shelter. It would be a great treat
