Election volunteers report no lines at polling places

There were no lanes at any of the four Mason District polling places the Annandale Blogger stopped by this afternoon. That’s presumably because so many people voted by mail or voted early in-person.

A volunteer at Belvedere Elementary School said voters had been trickling in all day. It was the same story at Bailey’s Community Center, Woodrow Wilson Library, and Annandale Terrace Elementary School.

An election officer at the library said there were no voter harassment incidents or other problems at the Wilson Library. Representatives from Election Defenders, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, also reported no problems at Annandale Terrace.
