Emessa has closed
Emessa |
Emessa, the Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurant and hookah bar at 6315 Leesburg Pike in Seven Corners, has closed, just about a year after it opened.
The restaurant offered live music, karaoke, and a full bar. Before it opened, the building housed the Seven Corners Pub. Emessa is the ancient name of the Syrian city of Homs.
Looks like Zaaki restaurant and hookah bar (a bit further east on Leesburg Pike) has also closed.
Zaaki's is closed due to building code violations.
Finally. Habitual violations there. Took long enough to get to this closure.
I didn't think you could just put a tent over a parking area and use that as restaurant space.
That was so dangerous. Customers who tried to enter that parking lot found it entirely blocked off and then had to back into Route 7 to get out.
All these junk ethnic food places are closing………good ridden. However we are now stuck with more boarded up storefronts in paradise………….NOT!
Emessa caught fire early Dec 15.
