The Fairfax County Planning Commission has scheduled a
public hearing for July 23 on a proposal to expand and modify the medical
offices of Dr. Quan Nguyen at 4217 Evergreen Lane.

Nguyen wants to replace the small cottage where he’s been
seeing patients since 1984 with a new two-story building with room for another
physician. He says he’s spoken with residents of the Evergreen Heights
community and they don’t have any problems with the project.

OBVIOUS CORRUPTION!!! How many thousands of dollars did Dr. Nguyen have to contribute to Penny's re-election campaign to grease the skids for this massive new project!!! Who is listening to the neighbor's concerns?
Don't believe the misleading informartion in this article that Dr. Nguyen talked with the "residents of the community and they don't have any problems with the project." Of course the self-interested Dr. Nguyen would say this. He is the DEVELOPER! He can't be trusted!!!
Get ready residents of Mason District for everything you hold dear to be bulldozed by the unleashed developers!!!

As much as possible to get it approved for a DEVELOPER and to hell with the constituents and the effect on them.
Sure, he checked it out with Evergreen Heights, but did he speak with the other neighborhoods off Evergreen Lane (namely Wynfield…. )
Personally, I just happy not to see another large home that gets used as an illegal boarding house on Evergreen.
Of course no one would use a commercial office building as a boarding house. That would be as ridiculous as to think that a residential McMansion type residence would be used as a boarding house. That just would never happen here in Mason District. Not on Penny's watch.

Please, it looks like a Culmore housing project. Their architects must have gotten their eduction from some fee software on internet. This place has no standards, not even poor ones.

I can't tell if I'm being trolled because it's Monday and I'm slow, but how can you recognize anything from a sketch? Cripes, with all these comments I hope you all live in something palatial.
The building is nothing special, but I've never been to a doctor's office and thought that it was gorgeous in design or architecture.
