Fairfax County’s summer concert series goes virtual

Since the free summer concerts in the parks have been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Fairfax County Park Authority and the Board of Supervisors are offering virtual concerts livestreamed on Facebook.
Shows are scheduled every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 7:30 p.m. July 30-Aug. 30. There are also children’s shows every Saturday at 10 a.m.
Access the free virtual concerts from the county’s summer entertainment series website. You don’t need a Facebook account.
The first few shows:
- July 30 – folk duo Jay Ungar & Molly Mason
- July 31 – singer-songwriter David Wilcox
- July 31 – children’s show featuring Billy B (10 a.m.)
- Aug. 1 – Bill and the Belles, early country music.
- Aug. 2 – Celtic music by Scythian
