Farmers markets are open

The farmers markets in Annandale parks are now open.

The Wakefield market at Wakefield Park, at 8100 Braddock Road, is open Wednesdays, 2-6 p.m., through Oct. 26.

The vendors include:

Baguette Republic – croissants, muffins, and other baked goods.

Doughboy Creamery – ice cream.

F.J. Medina & Son Farm – vegetables, fruit, herbs.

Happy Family Ranch – beef, pork, sausages.

Kuhn Orchards – fruits, berries.

Linda Vista Farm – vegetables, strawberries, herbs.

Luke & Son for Global Food – Egyptian flat bread, chicken salad, wraps, and more.

My Alfajor – empanadas, Latin American pastries.

Sip Coffee – fair trade, organic coffee from bird-friendly farms.

Sue’s Pies and More – baked goods.

The Annandale Farmers Market at Mason District Park, 6621 Columbia Pike, is open Thursdays 8 a.m.-noon through Nov. 3.
