The Federal Bureau of Investigation is offering a reward up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the “forever loyal bandit,” a man sought for three bank robberies in the Falls Church area of Mason District last summer.
On June 27, a man wearing a white t-shirt with the words “Forever Loyal” on it robbed the Capital One Bank at 5851 Crossroads Center in Bailey’s Crossroads. He passed a note to a teller that demanded money. He was also wearing a dark-colored had with the word “VIBES” on it.
A man wearing the same “Forever Loyal” t-shirt robbed the Capital One Bank at 6367 Seven Corners Center July 21, implying he had a weapon while passing a note demanding money from a teller.
The FBI believes the same man robbed the SunTrust Bank at 5821 Crossroads Center on Aug. 9, again passing a note to a teller demanding money. This time, he wore a black t-shirt and black hat.
The suspect is described as black, in his 30s to 50s, 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches tall, and muscular.
