Fire damages Annandale condo

A fire in a condo at 4653 Logsdon Drive, Annandale, Oct. 22 caused an estimated $40,000 in damages, the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department reports.

Firefighters responded to the fire at approximately 3:50 p.m., encountering smoke and fire coming from the front of the ground-level, two-bedroom unit. The occupants were home at the time and escaped unharmed. Two people have been displaced and received support from the Red Cross.
